About the role: Rebellyous Foods seeks worker, conscientious, flexible and detail oriented coordinator of the supply chain that likes to make a difference, being part of a team, and is proud to work at a high level in an extremely fast, constantly changing startup environment. We are seeking a committed member and team-oriented mission that will combine functions with enthusiasm to support the team in the supply chain and enterprise with a wide variety of tasks of different difficulty levels. Follow-up by Keen is essential for employee success in a startup environment, and especially in this position. This position requires considerable coordination with other team members. The main tasks will include, but not limited to:
Maintain the inventory of ingredients for the production of Rebellyous Food under the supervision of the Senior Director of Supply Chain and Logistics
Submit, track and process raw material purchase orders
Support the development and implementation of quality control and food safety protocols as they relate to supply chain management across multiple facilities
Perform scans on the inventory track for various facility locations
Calculate raw material needs for production cycles and forecasting needs
Create Excel models and perform analyzes on raw material order projections taking into account shelf life, inventory turnover and storage capacity
Collaborate with SC Manager to optimize MRP for ingredients and finished product planning
Work with inventory and production coordinator to resolve discrepancies in SAP
Support as needed for inventory and restocking for ministry supplies
Help create SOPs and train production and SC staff on relevant SOPs
Supporting finished goods freight management
Assist with documentation and tracking of vendor scorecards
Support the implementation and integration of SAP
Perform SAP data entry as needed
Use SAP to create queries and reports for the benefit of SC/Logistics
Maintain documentation of food safety in accordance with the requirements of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) for raw materials and suppliers, requesting updated information and sending inquiries need
Assist with documentation requests to set up new suppliers and raw materials per SQF requirements
Research and analysis in support of special projects such as certification, the redesign of packaging, regulatory compliance, improved SQF process, research needs, scaling requirements, etc.
Qualifications: Applicants must have all of the following credentials:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of supply chain work experience
Prior experience in a food manufacturing work environment preferred
Experience SAP (or other ERP systems) highly preferred
Exceptional proficiency in all standard G-Suite applications as well as MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Proven ability to create Excel reports and templates from scratch
exceptional skills in data analysis
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Exceptional experience performing tasks with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
Proven self-starter with ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity to create structure
Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills
Ability to work quickly, (with and without tight deadlines) and efficiently
Ability to be flexible and ready to take on new tasks to support the team
Excellent critical thinking skills and independent judgment
Desire to work in a food production, fast-paced, demanding, start-up environment
A commitment to food safety
Ability to provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19
